| 63:1 | [A Psalme of Dauid, when hee was in the wildernesse of Iudah.] O God, thou art my God, earely will I seeke thee: my soule thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee, in a drie and thirstie lande, where no water is: |

O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; |
| 63:2 | To see thy power and thy glory, so as I haue seen thee in the Sanctuary. | To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. | |
| 63:3 | Because thy louing kindnes is better then life: my lips shal praise thee. | Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. | |
