131:1 [A song of degrees of Dauid.] Lord, my heart is not haughtie, nor mine eyes loftie: neither doe I exercise my selfe in great matters, or in things too high for mee. Margin Note LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.
131:2 Surely I haue behaued and quieted my selfe as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soule is euen as a weaned childe. Margin Note Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.
131:3 Let Israel hope in the Lord, from henceforth and for euer. Margin Note Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.
