47:1 [To the chiefe musician, a psalme for the sonnes of Korah.] O Clap your hands (all ye people:) shoute vnto God with the voyce of triumph: O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.
47:2 For the Lord most high is terrible; he is a great King ouer all the earth. For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.
47:3 Hee shall subdue the people vnder vs, and the nations vnder our feet. He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.
47:4 He shall chuse our inheritance for vs, the excellencie of Iacob whom hee loued. Selah. He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.
47:5 God is gone vp with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet. God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.
47:6 Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises vnto our King, sing praises. Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.
47:7 For God is the King of all the earth, sing ye praises with vnderstanding. For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.
47:8 God reigneth ouer the heathen: God sitteth vpon the throne of his holinesse. God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.
47:9 The princes of the people are gathered together, euen the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong vnto God: hee is greatly exalted. The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.
